I will never be the girl that has all her hair in place...

Updated: Feb 26, 2021

Or all her shit together.

And you know what, that’s absolutely fine with me.

Gone are the days where I pretend I am anything but me.

Does this mean I will get it wrong…of course it will.

And other times it will mean I get it right.

I never want to stop failing because I know the moment I do, is the moment I stop learning and stop growing.

This means at times I open myself up to being vulnerable, I open myself up to rejection and to judgment and that can be scary.

But the one thing I have learnt, is that if you are true to who you are, no matter what, than even the scariest things you will make it through.

The most heartbreaking, will one day stop hurting.

The uncomfortable will soon become comfortable.

The only time we stop growing is when we are not true to who we really are.

The moment we have to run

The moment we begin to hide

The moment we lose ourselves.

If you are hiding, ask yourself what exactly are you hiding from?

What's stopping you from doing what you really want?

What's stopping you showing up?

Make today the day, you stop letting fear control who you are and what you want.

Make today the day you stand up and say this is me, and I am good enough ❤️
