Stop getting caught up in the fantasy...

Stop living in the story you've created in your head.

Because this is what we do, right?

We might swipe right on someone and connect with them...

You start talking; you start flirting ...

And it feels good.

Then you start getting nervous...

And instead of enjoying the moments of getting to know someone, you start to pull things apart...

Why haven't they texted back?

What are they doing?

They must be talking to other girls?

And before the connection has even been made, you are destroying it...

Why?

Because, as humans, we are very good at creating stories...

We imagine where it could go...

What it could be…

And that fantasy starts feeding into our insecurities...

When the story gets better, the stakes get higher and when the stakes get higher... we get more nervous.

This is true in any area of our lives... not just in relationships.

The more nervous you get, the more you are living in the story of possibility.

The more you are living in the story of what it could be.

You are overvaluing the connection...

So scared that it might not work before it's even started.

So focused on what it could be.... maybe...

But the truth is... unless that is what's happening, then who gives a f*ck?!

A real relationship, a real connection... is when two people invest.

When two people make a commitment to each other...

It's special... it's real and it's clear.

And until that happens, stop fixating on losing something you don't even have yet... and may never have.

Stop creating a story that makes you feel not good enough.

And start living and enjoying every moment for what it is...

Because... it's a lot more fun than losing a fantasy you've made up ♥️
